PDF Patterns

"Strawberry Social" is now being offered as a
PDF pattern!
Please visit my website to order.
All my new patterns will be available in the coming weeks in PDF format.
Please check back for updates to my website.

Baubles is the last of my newest collection of patterns.
This little quilt finishes 60" square.  I designed Baubles with a fabric line by Bonnie and Camille called Ruby.  This is my favorite kind of quilt - it looks like it might be difficult to make, but it's all just simple piecing!

All my new designs are available on my website so please stop by.

Beach House

Introducing Beach House!  I'm loving the cool summer colors in this quilt - it just feels like a quilt you might find at a beach house.  This new pattern was created with a Layer Cake of Avalon by Fig Tree Quilts.  Beach House finishes 60" by 72".

Beach House is available in the New Pattern section of my website.
If you are looking for the fabric requirements, I will be posting information on my website in the next couple of days.
I hope you like it and thanks for visiting!

Introducing "Pottery", another one of my new designs that I'm super excited to show you.
Click on the pictures below to view them larger.
When I saw Bonnie and Camille's fabric line Happy-Go-Lucky that they designed with Moda it reminded me of these beautiful hand-painted pots that you see in garden shops at this time of year.
Pottery was created using a Moda Layer Cake.  It's a simple, fun pattern that I think is perfect for summer.

Thanks for stopping by!

New Patterns

I just posted the fabric requirements on The Pattern Basket website for my three new patterns.  I've had a lot of requests for this information so if you are waiting for the patterns to arrive you can now start selecting fabric.
I have four more new pattern designs to release this month.  I hope to have some pictures posted this weekend.  Lots of fun things happening these days that I can't wait to share with you.

Sweet Pea

Introducing "Sweet Pea", another one of my new patterns this Spring.  The sample is a combination of Tapestry and Fresh Cotton by Fig Tree for Moda Fabrics.  The background is from Blushing, the collection I designed with Henry Glass.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments you have left on my blog and all the nice e-mails I have received about my new designs.  I'm thrilled you are liking them.  Just before I release patterns I always get a little bit nervous so your comments take away those uncertain feelings and now I can't wait to show you all of them! I hope to have more pictures of several new designs posted this coming week.
Thanks for stopping by!

Strawberry Social Update

I just added Strawberry Social to my website!   Thank you for all your comments on the post below.  I am thrilled you like my newest design as much as I do!
Strawberry Social will be shipping on Monday June 17th.

Strawberry Social

Strawberry Social is a new pattern that I designed this spring.  I usually don't gush openly over my quilt designs but I'm in love with this one!
This block is so easy and fun to make.  I think you will love it too.

Strawberry Social finishes 53" by 66".  The strawberries were made with various Moda fabrics.  The stems and background fabrics are from my Henry Glass collection, Blushing.

Sun Catcher

My new patterns are ready!
The first of several I have to show you is
"Sun Catcher".
I'm really excited about this quilt, I just love the way it looks.   The sample shown below finishes 50" square so being small I think its a perfect weekend project.

The Sun Catcher sample was made with a moda fabric collection.

I hope you like it!
I have several more new pattern designs that I will be posting over the next few weeks so please come back to visit.
Thanks for stopping by!

Prom 2013

I don't share a lot of family photos on my blog (I try to keep it quilty) but I just couldn't resist posting this.
Our son William and Sylvie his girlfriend are both graduating from high school this year and this past Friday night was their Prom. These two are true high school sweethearts. I think they make such a beautiful couple and don't you just love Sylvie’s dress!
They had a beautiful evening, and then to top it off they were crowned Prom King and Queen!
One last picture from the night to share …
Jennifer our youngest put together the pictures below before William and Sylvie left for the Prom.
The first one below was taken when William was 6 years old and he was heading off to his first day of Grade One and Jenny was four years old starting Junior Kindergarten. The second picture was taken last Friday – William 17 on his way to Prom and Jenny 15 being the ham that she is. One way or another she can always make him smile!

I will cherish these fun pictures forever.
My kids are growing up way too fast!
