Oh how I wish it was Spring!!

With the temperature falling to a crazy – 41°F with the wind chill and a frostbite warning in effect I know it will be quite some time before Spring is here.  Thankfully the cold weather is keeping me indoors and I have spent most of January happily working with the newest fabric collection that I designed with Henry Glass ~ Blushing.

 

Blushing will be out in quilt shops next month.

Thank you for all your e-mails and comments about this collection. I am really excited about it being available.
 

I'll post pictures of my new patterns featuring Blushing very soon.
 

In the meantime,  here are a couple of pictures of two of my favorite quilt patterns: Spring Breeze and Day Dreams.

Spring Breeze is a fat quarter quilt that finishes 52" by 75".

 

 Day Dreams was designed to be made with a Jelly Roll and finishes 55" by 70".

 

You can find both of these patterns on my website or ask for them at your local quilt shop.

Chocolate Bunnies Kit

We have a new table topper kit in the shop!

 

This one is for Chocolate Bunnies and it features "Butterfields".  Below are some pictures of Chocolate Bunnies.  It's a sweet little pattern that measures 18 1/2" by 30 1/2".  I originally made this table topper in a Moda collection that came out a couple of years ago but I know it's going to look so fresh in Butterfields!

 

 

Included is the pattern and all the fabrics to make the top and binding.  The kits are limited and I have a feeling they won't last long.  Please visit my website to order!

I'm so excited ~ "Blushing" just arrived in my studio!!

I may not come out of my sewing room for days.  :)

 

 

New Year

We are staying toasty warm by the fire these days.  It sure has been a cold start to 2013, with temperatures in our town dipping to -6^° F.  Brrrrrr

Dashing

  Dashing is number 4 of my newest patterns. It features a Moda Christmas collection by Kate Spain.

 

Kate's Christmas fabrics are always so much fun and I can't resist designing with them.
 

I love the simplicity of 'Dashing" and how it showcases the pretty fabrics. It's not just for Christmas, it will look wonderful in fabrics to suit any time of year. I have a spring version on my design wall that I will share with you very soon.
