Lovely Layers and Cotton Garden were both designed with Moda's Garden Party by Blackbird Designs. The colors of this collection are warm and beautifully coordinated -- so homey and comforting. Easy piecing makes these quilts come together fast, and a Layer Cake allows you to showcase all of the fabrics in the Garden Party collection. Of course fat quarters would work well too!

    I like them both. I have a layer cake that needs a pattern and the first one looks like a winner. Are the patterns out ready for sale yet?
