Butterfields Yardage and Giveaway

I’ve received many e-mails requesting yardage of Butterfields. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough fabric to fill these orders directly but please check with your local quilt shop or your favorite online shop for yardage.

I just checked with one of my favorite online stores the Fat Quarter Shop and they have some in stock.

Around The Block

"Around the Block" is one of my favorite NEW designs. It features a simple block, with a fun twist on binding.
The finished size is 58" by 66".

I just posted Around the Block as well as Sugar Squares and Buttercream on my website.

I have four more patterns coming this week! I’ll be back to share them with you very soon.

Sugar Squares

Sugar Squares is the second quilt pattern I designed with ‘Butterfields’. This one is super easy and lots of fun to make. The squares come together fast with strip piecing.
Sugar Squares finishes 60" by 70".

Sparkle

Sparkle is one of the free quilt patterns I designed to accompany "Butterfields" fabric collection. I just finished making the quilt this morning so I wanted to share some pictures of it with you.

If you would like to download the pattern
you can find it here

Sewing Room Favorites

Earlier this week Lissa Alexander from Moda e-mailed me inviting me to be part
of her April Tools Day on her blog.
I visited her blog this morning and it's filled with designers' thoughts on their favorite tool - you know, the one that they can't live without.  I'm heading back there to enjoy them all but I thought I would post a link here so you can all join me.

P.S.  This is my favorite tool
I have many tools in my sewing room that I love to use, but the small tool I love the most is the Clover Desk Needle Threader.
This Needle Threader makes threading those small needles so easy and fast – it’s just the perfect tool. Couldn’t live without it!

What's your favorite tool?

Photo Shoot

I'm taking lots of pictures of my new quilts today, but I'm getting side-tracked with little Louis insisting I take his picture, so here's a photo of my sweet Louis.

Click on the picture to see it bigger

He is very small, at 3 1/2 pounds he is not much bigger than a fat quarter bundle, but he has a huge personality.
I had no idea a little dog would be so much fun.

Ok ... I'm getting back to my quilts!

Hope you're having a fun Saturday!!

UPDATE
Adding another picture because he is just too sweet!

Buttercream

Here is the first of my new patterns. It’s called “Buttercream”. This quilt pattern is simple to make with easy instructions using Fat Quarters.

Over the next couple of days I will be posting several quilts that feature my new fabric line, “Butterfields”.

All my new patterns will be available on my website next weekend. Can't wait to share them all with you!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Introducing Louis

I would like to introduce you to our new little bundle we call Louis. Pronounced in French Louie.
He is a 3 1/2 pound Chihuahua that we adopted just last week and as you can see Louis is already beyond spoiled.

I know this picture is a little dark but I'll post more pictures very soon - promise

Mrs. McGregor's Garden Kit

In addition to having a couple fat quarter bundles of Butterfields available on my website, I also have a kit made up for Mrs. McGregor’s Garden. This morning I was asked to kit this pattern for a customer and I cut two because it looked so pretty. If you would like to order the second kit please email me.

UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who emailed.  The kit is sold.

I posted some fat eight bundles of Butterfields on my website this morning.  Visit my website and have a look.

Above is a sneak peek of a new pattern designed with Butterfields. I designed several patterns that I will be posting lots of pictures of in the next couple days.
